TIGER 2008 data source

It appears that the source for 2008 TIGER files (base data for street maps, and probably a base gazetteer as well) is:
http://www.census.gov/geo/www/tiger/tgrshp2008/tgrshp2008.html

I am going to try to download the appropriate files and understand them before class today.
